Closed Playtesting Has Started

Fools Treasue has begun playtesting!

As we continue development of Fools Treasue, we want to make sure that we not only produce a game that we as a studio enjoy, but one that will be memorable and enjoyable to players. The best way we’ve found to do that is to invite in players to experience our game in early stages, taking their feedback and experiences to improve.

What does this mean?

If you or someone you know is interested in our game or simply playtesting in general, your help is needed! The feedback and insight playtesting creates is what will let our game be its best version so we appreciate any and all help. If this seems like something you might be interested in, feel free to contact a member of the studio to set up a time to do a test or just get information.

Playtesting Tips

If you are looking to playtest, fantastic! However, it is also important that the playtest be done well so as to most effective in improving Fool’s Treasure. 1. Say everything on your mind. When playtesting, any thoughts are welcome, especially if they come up in the middle of the playtest. 2. Don’t hold back. While we value our game, we want your feedback. Even if you think it would be better to keep something to yourself, please share it with us so that we may act on it and allow our game to evolve.

To All Playesters

For anyone who participates in one of our playtests, I cannot thank you enough. Your information has been invaluable in the development of our game so thank you.

  1. I like your idea of giving playtest instructions right on your site! I didn’t think of that, and it’ll be easy to show someone the guidelines before testing, or even send a link to your blog before you show up. Here’s hoping you show a bit more of the game itself soon.
